Maps
“To put a city in a book, to put the world on one sheet of paper -- maps are the most condensed humanized spaces of all...They make the landscape fit indoors, make us masters of sights we can't see and spaces we can't cover.” -Robert Harbison, Eccentric Spaces Christiane Beauregard

Christiane Beauregard!
We all know how talented Christiane Beauregard is... and we usually post illustrations... but her latest can't be posted yet.. however I had to share the comments from the art director:
I just wanted to tell you how absolutely beautiful your work came out – and that it conveys the EXACT feel I envisioned for this piece. Fantastic – I couldn't have asked for more; well, well done! Christiane Beauregard's Tent Christiane illustrated the Safeway Tent that's up in Union Square in San Francisco right now! If you're in the area head over and relax inside!
